‘We Are All Writers Now’ - Idea of the Day Blog

I hear people (especially teachers) saying "kids just don't read, anymore." I've always argued that they do, it's just different than how many of us grew up reading. Their reading style is less linear and the materials are more dynamic, but they probably read and write more than the rest of us did as children, even if if hardly resembles our definition.

This all happened within two hours of finding out that my grant proposal had been accepted for voting:

1. Twittered the info

5. Emailed personal and professional groups in my gmail contacts

6. Emailed the school PTA with a request to send out information through the list serve

7. Emailed my administration to send out information through the campus list serve

8. Emailed my district news distributor to send the information out through its electronic system

9. Emailed editors local online magazines

10. Found out that BlackWhiteRead has published the info and sent it to its readers.
